Our (aging?) MBP is finally showing problems, but it's an annoying and seemingly trivial one. The magsafe charging port has burn marks around a couple of pinholes. Obviously the connection has been loose in the past and has sparked often. Now it's not charging properly with any charger. The most annoying thing is the rest of the unit is still perfectly fine. I'm guessing this is probably quite a common problem. If that's the case, what can be done about this? Is it economical to fix the unit?
Cheers,
Dany.
