I recently bought an iPhone.
On registering it I was forced to change my account from the UK store to the NZ store. Yell
This is irritating because the UK one is much better stocked than the NZ one and also has some things that do not seem to appear in the NZ version at all.
One of these is the excellent "Essentials" feature which offers a wide selection of tracks to get a flavour of a particular band or genre.
Another is "New Age" as a genre in the music drop down.
Another is the Amazon-esque "Just For You" which offers selections based on previous purchase history. I found this often alerted me to new artists - sadly it does not seem to be on the NZ version and neither (logically) has it transferred my purchase history as far as I can see.
Have I just missed some settings somewhere or am I correct in my observations?

The "Just for you" feature is there once you've started purchasing tracks, I've got no idea about the others as I rarely buy from iTunes.

Well, that is good to know. Shame it is not intelligent enough to transfer my iTunes library to NZ and continue working on that store instead!
