Hi all,
I have a Apple Time Capsule and a Telecom 2wire 2701hgv-w connected to our Macs.

The 2wire is connected via ethernet (wired) to The Time Capsule which is bridge mode and creating a wireless network. The 2wire is 'Routing Enabled', as the DHCP server.

Now my Mac which is connected via ethernet (wired) from the Time Capsule had an issue where it could not connect to http://www.canterburyearthquake.org.nz  timed out

Now if I plug it directly into the 2wire 2701hgv-w it is fine.

I have since shut down both, turned back, set the TCP/IP manually and all is ok for now.

Though previously it would work again for a short time if I turned both off and restarted, then timing out again.

Question: what the?

Any tips or hints. thinking get new router, set it up as bridge mode and let the Apple Time Capsule/Airport supply the DHCP and NAT.

your  thoughts.
