CrispinMullins:
freitasm: I will open another thread just for this type of discussion.

Thanks Mauricio. Please let us Mac zealots know if there is anything we can do to stop attracting rogue moderators from trolling the otherwise pristine Mac threads in the future.

Warmest regards
C.Mullins

A rogue moderator? Really? Thats the best you could do?

Why is it that when somebody takes a shot at Windows it's ok (that cartoon was funny) but when somebody fires a shot in the other direction it's over the line, some might even call it rogueish. But that is the mark of a true zealot, they can give but can't take the same in return and must cry foul.

www.epowermac.com.au is reasonable for RAM. I just bought 2 gigs for my Mini for NZ$400 including insured postage, which took 3 business days.

Warmest regards

Otherwise, Ubertec in Parnell, Auckland quoted me NZ$319 per gig, and I believe that included installation, which for the Mini makes sense.

That is very expensive for RAM. I can go down to the PC store and pick up 1Gb for around $100 for my PC

Well, thats the difference between full sized ram and SODIMMS. Its amazing that people actually buy the ram from resellers here...
