There is a 'returning soon' tag on that item. If you do get one, pay by credit card in case there are any really serious issues with the product or any required service. You can easily get a chargeback down the track if they do not live up to the offer or service for some reason.
Easily get a chargeback? Not outside the chargeback period and I'm sure 90 days express warranty exceeds the chargeback time frame anyway.
As stated above there should be some protection under the law (CGA) anyway. The biggest problem with iMacs is that any problem that develops Apple will tell you that you need a new logic board because they don't do component level repairs. This would cost over $1000 to repair essentially if "anything" went wrong.
But I find iMacs generally very reliable.
Also Yes Shop is trying to make a name for itself and hopefully wants to impress with customer service (but who knows).
