Thanks fine wine. I will try that when home.
Ive got the imac going but with a different harddrive which isnt ideal.
Im not sure what updates were done. Infact its very weird it updated at all as i have auto updates turned off and keep myself signed out of anything apple related and it always asks for password etc before updating. All i did was turn it off. However ive never seen any of my many many plugins offer an update. But i will look into it. From memory i think ive encountered issues on clients macs with Avid plugs
