To fill you in on what has happened. I took it to magnum mac, and they turned me away, as expected, so I took it to service plus, and they are repairing under warranty at the moment. Moral of the story. I will never go to magnum mac again. Any mac repair work I do will be through service plus from now on. They have won my loyalty.

As for who managed to damage it. The guy who was using it claimed innocence, and I believe him. The problem was, when not being used, it was stored in a contain, where the editors were working, and cameras were stored, charged etc, so people we're going in and out all day. It could have been anyone..........the mystery..........
