Spadoinkles: mueh that's what I've been told everywhere I go...

some apple techie I spoke to at Harvey Norman says that's what processors go through on their way to burning out completely :(


Usually peoples computers get slower as they fill them up with more and more junk they don't need.

If it feels slow have a clean out or get some more Ram.

I've upgraded the ram on my last 2 iMacs (maxed them both out), huge performance gains. Got the memory from Crucial in the States, fast to ship and cheap compared to Apple.

You can get most Crucial Ram here in NZ, plus Kingston Mac compatible units are generally very good.

That white macbook spec bump is only for US at the moment it seems though.

Don't forget backup. Figure into the price an external drive also. Nothing specific here about Macs, except that TimeMachine is built into the OS so the software comes with it.

It seems like the 2.13GHz and 160GB wee spec bump has reached NZ's Apple Online Store. Priced at NZ$1999.
