Yeah I recently bought a refurbished Airport Express from the Apple website ($119 vs. $228RRP) to add to my existing wired network, and it installed and runs perfectly. So I can now print wirelessly and use the WiFi on my iPhone at home.

Now to save up for my 13.3" Macbook Pro before my honeymoon in November...

As a side note the refurbished Airport Express is flawless and looks brand new. I thought with such a discount off the RRP it might have a few imperfections, but it is absolutely perfect so pretty happy with only paying that much for it.

Might I suggest the Microsoft Laser Mouse 8000 for when your mighty mouse dies a horrible death as mine seem to do.

dropped into the Magnum Mac opening today in Christchurch and was amazed to see so many Macbooks and Macbook Pros walking out the door.
Good sign to see!!

I know plenty of people who diss the mac.. probably as they have had a bashing from Mac fans.. and still love one of may top dissers... now has an iMac at home for the family!!

When you buy a Mac, no way you come back to PC's !

My colleagues' issues with their PC's won't help me buy a PC again either :p

NickiB: So jealous! I'm a Mac convert (Vista = blech, W7 = double blech), all that's missing is the Mac ;-) hehe.

I just can't justify the cost when I have two working computers already, but next upgrade is definitely going to be a switch. Glad to hear you found converting so easy, I'm not good at figuring things out myself, I need to be shown, so I'm a little worried I'll have the opposite reaction after a few days and will throw it all out the window when I discover Windows quirks that I rely on that don't exist in Mac!

I am a MAC user (macbook Pro), but I have to disagree with the comment on w7. windows xp = 'good', windows vista = 'useless crap', but windows 7 = 'superb' IMO. Snow leopard will not offer different experience from leopard but Windows 7 is a huge leap forward from vista. I have been playing with the beta and so far the experience is at least similar to leopard, if not better. :D Maybe 2010 will be the year I switch back to Windows Money mouth
