Sorry I haven't got back to you in a while, I'm trying to figure out what the last line means, "DVFreeThread - CFMachPortCreateWithPort hack = 0x44839a0, fPowerNotifyPort= 0x447c720". This shouldn't show up. Will let you know when/if(?) I find out. Cheers.

Yeah, I left it out because I felt it didn't need to be.  ;)

I would suggest uninstlilting it, getting rid of any associated lists. And reinstall.

Sorry mate, looks like the only thing left to try is to completely uninstall and reinstall it. I trust that you will be able to find out how to do this, just make sure you delete the Plist file after you've uninstalled it. Thanks, Ash.

Hey.

Just tried uninstalling, reinstalling, etc, and it still isn't working.  Perhaps the problem may go deeper into the Mac's system or something?

Thanks for all the help you've given so far though.  Even though it hasn't solved the problem yet, it's helped me learn a little more about how to operate an Apple product instead of Microsoft.
