Comparing an HDD boot up on 9 year old hardware to a current gen SSD boot is like night and day....

oh the boot up was instant... Really WOW

 

Just restoring all my stuff from time machine is taking time...

 

i remember on my old mac, when i opened any app, it keeps on bouncing at the dock, but now - it just opens up... quick

SSDs are the bomb. And they have really gotten quicker and quicker.

Yup, but being able to basically move everything you have without having to fiddle with setting things up again is soooo worth it.

I know what you mean. Was helping someone with their old (2011) iMac 21" the other day. Had to keep reminding myself it had a regular HD, because I was constantly wondering if there was something wrong with it :D
