Who can advise about the Adobe education licence in NZ. I am not sure what qualifies. Does a Photoshop course at Community Education qualify?
Any help appreciated

CS6 is coming out soon. Would be definitely worth waiting for that if it is an option. I had a play with the beta and there are quite a few notable changes.

I agree and most resellers are offering a free upgrade.
In fact most resellers do n ot even sell the retail pack for CS5 as they are only interested in selling the education pack. Which makes me think there must be something I am missing. JB-HiFI for instance have shelved of the education pack but not a single retail pack. There just cannot be that many people qualifying for education pack licence if it is for full time students studying Graphics/Photography etc.

Probably because not too many people can afford the full retail pack, but many people know someone on a course of some type, so can buy it through them. The cost of design software is very expensive.
