ASB Securities and Direct Broking are the only services I've found, has anyone here tried both and have a preference or are there any other services I should look at?

I've used both (ASB securities and Direct Broking) and had no issues at all with either.
I currently stick with DirectBroking but can't think of any particular reason for choosing them over ASB.

Directbroking for NZ and OptionsXpress for US. Both of these work fine for me.

I find ASBs good for NZ and AUs shares, and I think their fees are slightly less.
For US trades I use National banks one, which I guess is now ANZ.

I use CommSec for AU and NZ securities. I have an ASB Securities account too but I have a bunch of free brokerage with CommSec, and as I am based in AU, it's easier to manage.

ASB has always worked fine for me as well. Never had a reason to try another but as mentioned they are best for NZ and AU exchanges
