Yeah, good job. I can't see him getting a pay out unless he is pardoned which is unlikely to happen. The guvment could just decide that it is not in the public interest to conduct a retrial so he is neither guilty or innocent.

There will be no compenstation unless he is aquited of the crime which would require a retrial. Which should happen. There are still far too many question and things that point to him being guilty.

If he's found innocent then fine, if guilty, he's already served his time.

As Jama points out he won't receive a pardon because that would require that his innocence be proven, but a retrial would not reach a guilty verdict either because after 13 years it would be impossible to reproduce enough evidence for a sound prosecution.

So, there will never really be a firm conclusion to the case.
