I need to get around 40kg worth in coffee cups from Seattle, WA to Auckland. Youshop will be way too expensive.

Any one have suggestions on freight companies I could use?

Sure, I'd recommend www.kiwishipping.co.nz run by Mainfreight. Sea shipping is cheap, and I just used them to get speakers across from the states. It took about 2 weeks to make the journey.

+1 fow kiwi shipping. I sea freighted my projector and screen ( nearly 3m long) with them and they even arranged a courier to collect from the supplier in the US for me too. Highly recommend them.

My delivery is nearly finished :)

238 KG, $520.80 freight + $80 port service charge + $72.50 Customs Clearance Fee + $40.77 Customs Import Transaction Fee + GST

I can't possibly imagine how much it would cost to air freight 238 KG, haha.

The ship arrived quickly, taking just a few weeks. But the final stage, delivering to my place hasn't gone so smoothly. Twice so far I've made sure I'm home for it, and they just haven't turned up (the first day the person I emailed said they don't know why it didn't make it onto the truck). And the final stretch (30km) from their warehouse to here costs just over $100.

So generally been impressed with Mainfreight's service, and it was easy enough to process and sort out. But this last leg isn't so great.

Still, if you have something heavy to bring to NZ, I'd recommend them.

It's been nearly a month now, and even though UPS says my stuff is at their yard, Kiwi Shipping have no idea where it is.

Multiple phone calls and emails, they've got once chance to call me tomorrow otherwise I'm organising an alternative provider.

As far as it stands, I wouldn't recommend these guys. Hopeless.

well i think airfreight on 240kgs of textiles was around 2k for us

but thats on the business account
