Hey guys.

Bought the below yesterday. It got delivered today which was a nice surprise.

I put it through one wash of towels, that went for just over an hour.

I now want to wash a blanket/duvet. Played around a bit and it is saying 1 hour 40 minutes to wash.

Is there anyway to adjust the time of this machine? The little screen says something like "40M 2T 7M", not entirely sure what this means.

Surely for a normal wash of towels it shouldn't take over an hour and for a blanket close to 2 hours?

Please help :)

like most new machines, you cant change the wash length of a pre programmed wash.

Modern washing machines usually use fuzzy logic to determine wash length, water volume and so forth dependant on your initial selection rather than offering time settings etc like old machines.

oh dear ... welcome to the future ... I loved the F&P top loaders , super fast , super effective, super fast spin (= dry-er clothes)

then I got a bosch front loader - a pain in the butt.

but oh well ... it's the way of the future

i have that model , turn it on and then alter the settings to what you want. the wash level gives you the water, the higher the more water you use. The wash button gives you how long you wash for , it goes from 5 to 7 to 9 minutes, the 30 - 60 minute cycle is for pre soaking, once finished you set everything again. Rinse button gives you 1 rinse or 2, and the spin button goes from 5 to 9 minutes of spin, play with the settings and when you push start you will see how long the wash takes. It can go from 45 minutes to 1 hour 20 depending on what you set.

if you want to let the machine set everything but then change wash time pause it after it starts filling and then push the wash button till the time is what you want i go to 9 minutes and then push start.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

I just set it to 25M 1T 7M and it said it was going to take 1 hour 16 minutes?

What am I missing here?

Sounds like you forgot about soak time? Soak time can be either 40, 50, or 60 minutes (and includes the wash time you selected). See page 18 of the manual.
