Hi,
I've got heaps of old xmas tree lights - which have been collected over the years. About to move house and I really don't want to just drop them in the rubbish.

Anyone know where to drop them responsibly? (I am in Auckland)

Cheers,
Ian

Contact the Sustainability Trust to see if there's anything like their eCycle programme in Auckland. Alternatively check this page on recycler.org.nz.

Someone may want them. If they work OK, I would start by sending an email around friends and/or workmates - "Free to a good home, first in first served", and someone will likely take them off your hands.
