Looked around Vance Vivian, Barkers, 3 Wise Men, Working Style and Mumms. Can anyone in Wellington suggest any other place to find a nice fitting sports jacket/blazer?

Farmers?

I'll get my coat...

I think you covered all the main bases man, that's where I would look.

The only other one that springs to mind is http://www.rembrandt.co.nz but I don't know if they have a store in the city. They have a shop at their factory in Naenae, got a few things from them, good quality.

Thanks folks. Yes, looked at Rodd and Gunn as well as Kirks too.

Rembrandt at Kirks was close to $900. Vance didn't have a great selection of colours but I liked the fitting on a couple of coats. Closer to $500 here.

I am thinking this is pretty much everything except tailor made stuff.

I was looking for one late last year and it was not an easy search and I surrendered. I dislike the "slept in" look so many of the jackets have, I intend to look again for the winter

Amazon, Aliexpress, eBay. Risky fit wise but alot of sellers have detailed measurements (chest, shoulder and arms +/- 2cm) way more selection than NZ suppliers and they all get them from China anyway.

The best suits I have were made by a tailor in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on my honeymoon. It took four fittings and 8 days, and some of the suits arrived by post later. Perfect fit. Otherwise working style is my next pick.

Can't speak to having had a suit made in Vietnam but I have had suits done in HK and Singapore and Suits in Singapore were both cheaper and significantly better quality.  I sent some pants over to Vietnam with my sister in law who is  Vietnamese and what came back as a duplicate were really aweful compared.

Marks & Spencer were doing free delivery to NZ...their stuff is good quality and reasonable price. Order a couple of sizes and flog the one that doesn't fit on Trade Me.

Other than that, these at the venerable firm of Pakeman, Catto & Carter in Cirencester UK for a very traditional look. No free delivery though.
