Was looking to visit friends this weekend and stay at Hotel overnight, they all seemed to be booked out or asking for $600+ dollars a night. Not just one or two but literally all of them on Wotif, Expedia, Direct Booking.

I must be living under a rock, but is there something big on in Auckland weekend ???

+1
Next weekend sounds like a better bet ... unless you enjoy Extreme Weather Events.

House prices rising by the minute. More exciting than watching paint dry.
