Hi guys,

Do you have any suggestion for a good visitor management system? Our company is looking to get one installed.

Thanks in advanced

We use Visitor Rego in a few sites and it works fine - does what it says on the tin. Have it configured to message the right people when visitors arrive, run a health and safety site video etc.

The team are decent to deal with and have managed our support issues pretty well all told.

I was tempted to reply "Smith & Wesson"...! That should keep the visitors fully managed.

"who's on location" is a NZ based developer that makes visitor sign in software.

thanks guys.

I rarely checked my posts.

So it is suggested to use the software like Whos On Location? Does come with the hardware, touchscreen etc.

Isn't better just to buy a hardware + software package like this one?

Our budget is around 10k.

some do, some don't.  You can obviously save yourself some money by doing it youself, but sounds like you want an end to end solution

maybe take the few seconds to visit the companies recommended to you, and checkout their pricing and ask for a quote?

Do you have existing access control? If so, could potentially be programmable into that too

Client of ours is using VisTab very successfully and loves it.  We only assisted in a minor way.

I know this is a zone for geeks but we use tried and true paper. A simple sign in register. Visitors don't go any where unless they are with someone so no need for anything fancy. To avoid a "visitor" pass we issue  a very simple " permit to work" which gives a person access rights to move around unaccompanied.
