Am I the only one who does this? I start watching a series that looks like it has potential, and even though it never pays off, I just keep watching because I kinda feel committed now.

Recent ones:

The Strain
Heroes Reborn
Extant
iZombie
Supergirl (this has only been 2 episodes, but is REALLY TERRIBLE).

I will not stop watching Heroes Reborn, not matter what happens :).  So terrible, yet so great.

Try minority report - great premise, worst acting I have seen in years!

My TV show viewing time is limited these days so if they aren't great 2 episodes in they get deleted.

Currently only Fargo and Drunk history on the regular.

Lost was really up and down through it's entire run.

I'm watching Lost now, Season 3. Getting really annoyed at it but really enjoy watching it too!

Some of my worst was Big Brother Australia. Thank goodness it stopped before I had to force myself too!

I'll keep watching Heroes Reborn, I'm liking it so far.

Not sure why you have iZombie on the list of "terrible TV shows" as it has got great reviews, and it has a kiwi in the lead role! :)
I haven't seen it though so maybe it really is terrible??

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Quantico.

Potentially good premise done badly - poor writing, cliche-ridden, bad acting (the lead's clearly not shown any change in style from the Bollywood films she's come from)... It doesn't compare to something like Homeland, but we're still likely to finish the series!

"Hart of Dixie"...to the bitter end. Still can't explain it.

My wife is (was?) an avid watcher of this programme, and while it was inane garbage, the eponymous character was its best feature...

In a similar vein, I admit to being an avid watcher of The Glimore Girls many years ago.

I certainly used to watch a lot more trash TV, despite my better judgement. This included two series of The GC - initially it was so bad it was good, but in the end it was just soooo bad it was bad. Now days, there's actually too much good TV out there to spend it on crap - we're still to watch the third season of Borgen, let alone start the new season of The Bridge, as well as all the good US stuff.
