I thought it was mildy amusing at the start when they were targeting large walls of displays which were largely unattended. But thought it pretty childish once they started screwing with peoples presentations.
I've become rather unimpressed with the behaviour of their staff in the last 12 months or so. One other incident I recall which demonstrates the arrogance in play was Brian Lam's unboxing of a Halo 3 Swag Bag in which he just tosses the contents around as if they were disposable.
I still read both, but these days prefer Engadget.
I don't usually read Gizmodo. They show a low quality in their comments in my view. But Engadget is just a bit better now, with an avalanche of idiotic toys and smart a** comments...
It's funny that such a simple device could cause so much trouble. I just like the response from all the other 'bloggers', as giz says 'sucking up'. if they hadn't admitted to it, nothing would have happened.
A typically arrogant reply ! Phew, I don't think I want Gizmodo being my 'Brave New World' minders... Or am I thinking shades of 1984? Anyway, now I know what Gizmodo is I never need go there again.
Like the guy said in the comments - journalists they are not.
