That might depend on where you are, and perhaps what you want them for.

Try contacting someone who has emu, like Sandy and Terry Cooper of Bluebank Blueberry and Emu Farm in the Upper Hutt area, who have been keeping emu for almost 20 years. They may be able to point you in the right direction.

Im in Auckland, thats the only contact I can find on google too. I will email them. Thanks!

I went up there on a school trip with my daughter's class about seven years ago, which is why they came to mind. I seem to remember they got their birds from a breeder in the Wairarapa, but I'd be surprised if there wasn't someone closer to Auckland.

Edit: A quick Google says there's a place called Runciman's Berries and Emus in Drury, so not too far South for you.
