Ah, that's sad. He was hilarious. I don't know if any Kiwis ever watched it, but he did a spoof series on the Sydney Olympics committee back in the day that was required viewing.

 

How did it happen? I assume his front fell off.*

So sad .. anyone see the scene he did where he was a govt Minster arguing a leaking oil taker (or similar) had been moved to location outside of the environment.

Haha yes, That was some random doing a take on the gumboot song which was a take on an old english folk song! Still reminds me of the man at the same time it was a great ad!

 

 I feel a massive Kiwiana void starting, Lost Murray Ball the other week. 
Cant wait for Lorde to be the face of Kiwiana........................Not

When John left for Australia I sent him a message saying how much I enjoyed his work and wished him well. 

 

Much to my surprise, he sent me a hand written thank-you note but I regret to say I seem to have lost it.

 

Very sorry he has died.

"The Games" was awesome.

 

Try and find the  "100 metre track".

 

 

 

Actually, everything he did was awesome. Going to miss him.

 

Clarke and Dawe were always a must watch.
