Gaurantee. Guarantee.

Are two of my top ones. I'll probably think of a few more later on.

So what are yours? laughing

i used to be a good speller, now it doesn't matter with spell check correcting all my mistakes. Like  simple maths , it's a dying art . Technology has a lot to answer forsmile

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Every word that is not phonetically correct.

Totally joys being dyslexic with borderline dyspraxia.

When the squiggly lines stop working, or i simply don't have the mental brain power level to shape up a word... I know i'm f*cked.

Often google is also my spellchecker, It has a far better hitrate at my garbled attempts.

*In this instance there are other factors at play, however this post took all of 3 spellcheck attempts to make.

These days, I am unsure if I cannot spell it, or if I cannot type it accurately!

I can't think of specific words just now. I recall being given lines at school to write out people because I kept getting it wrong. After writing it 1000 times, I never got it wrong again...! I still hear my 10 year old voice repeating "P-E-O-P-L-E" in my head though...!

Guarantee is a common one. I get round words like that by phonetics in my head - so writing guarantee is actually writing "Gwaar antee" like Guar gum.

Some have handy rhymes. Necessary - Never Eat Chips Eat Salmon Sandwiches And Remain Young for example.

From & form..... not really a spelling issue as much as a typo but this one goes both ways and autocorrect naturally cant see it

I often get "gauge" wrong (guage) but thankfully I can tell that it looks wrong when I do.

Printer. Only when typing it though.

Always comes out Pritner. And often my Surname - typing too fast and mucking up a couple of letters (the last four letters of my surname are all on the top row of the keyboard).

I always have such trouble with unfortunatently (correct: unfortunately). And interestingly some spell check algorithms don't always manage to correctly suggest 'unfortunately' for my attempts (Firefox just did though haha). Often I just type into DuckDuckGo and copy'n'paste the correct spelling into whatever app I'm using.
