Hi, do any other RPN users out their worry about the day there trusty 41c or 11c (I have both) should turn up its toes and die!!. I paniced the other day when my 11c acted up, found it just wanted a new set of batterys, they had been in their for god knows how long.

But whats the future for those of us who think RPN???

I just updated my itouch and noted that there is a bunch of RPN applets out there for it, and the standard calculator now comes with a rather usable (but non RPN) scientific mode if tipped on its side, but not the same as the solid made purpose built calculators like the 41c or 1xc series we have come to love.

Thoughts anyone.

Cyril

oh and the 12c does not quite cut it, sorry but spreadsheet users use the 12c, accountants are a bain of my life at certain times of the year so I will ignore thatone exists. but hey, if they can continue to make a financial 12c why not a humble 10/11/15c

I'm not an RPN user (I'm sticking with my scientific... I ain't an economics student yet) but I think the calculators on App Store could be a little better.

RPN Calc looks good (and it cheaper than it's similar competitor RPNCalc)
