Every night recently I see the light of the security guard patrolling a heavily treed / shrubbed site at the same time every hour all night!

At least they would know within what hour anything happened!

Not really prevention?

Always wondered if routine security checks were a good idea. Random times would seem to be a better idea?

Never been a problem, but something or a threat must have happened recently as it has just this week started patrols etc.

(It is the Chch Chinese Consulate)

Funny that they don't care about cars parked on the yellow lines or Cycleway outside!

(They even do it themselves!)
