Determining who gives the best insurance deal really is a personal thing. It is specific to your needs and history - hence the requirement to answer all of those questions!!

Personally I find that State is best for me in my situation (and they've given me service through a couple of car insurance claims that is second to none).

In saying that (and remembering previous threads of a similar nature) others have found the best provider for them and their unique situation is different to mine.

You really DO need to answer those questions yourself in order for the provider to give you the most accurate quote on premiums. Make sure you read the fine print to see what they will and won't cover as well.

What's good for one, most probably won't be the best option for you

Unfortunately you'll just have to do the hard yards. I recommend getting quotes from all the major providers and spend some time going through the pros/cons of each one.  I recently changed companies and saved a couple hundred off the yearly premium.

I agree with bcourtney, different policies will best suit different people.  Make sure you get any other drivers of your car put down as named drivers (otherwise they won't be covered) and realise that if you are male and < 25, insurance companies already hate you Smile (I'm lucky enough to be in that bracket).
