Hi.

Bunnings near me has a large area in their carkpark, which for various entirely reasonable reasons they don't want me to use off peak to have a play with my radio controlled car in, but I wondered if anyone knew of public spaces or somewhere else I could take it in central Auckland?

Needs to be pretty large, and ideally have not too many pillars :-)

It's not concrete but there is a kids bike and scooter area in the back of Avondale with marked roads etc. It's also got a couple of old netball courts that don't get used.

On the corner of East Coast rd and Forrest Hill rd on the North Shore. There is a water reservoir that has a flat concrete top, and is almost completely buried (top is approx 1M above the ground level).

I see that someone has even painted a track for RC cars on it.

What have you got? - Ive only just started dipping my toes.

Started with a 1:10 2wd aarma voltage for my son - Into a 2nd hand brushless 2wd slash for me (and then my son) and just started racing in a stock racing truck class with a Tamiya 1:14 racing truck
