Refurbished Apple iPod Pros

https://1-day.co.nz/products/apple-airpods-pro-refurb-4969-2407156542?sevid=2121

My interest is in the claim they are "factory refurb" - just under the picture of the product.   I contacted 1-day via online chat and they said it is NOT Apple factory refurbished.  It is just factory refurbished.

Question - would you interpret "factory refurbished" to mean by Apple?  Or not?

EDIT: pointed out where to look for the factory refurbish claim.

Perhaps they've changed something on the page since you visited it, because there's currently no "factory refurbished", just "refurbished".

Take a look at the picture, there is an icon saying "factory refurb"

So there is. Wouldn't be the first time things don't add up on that site. It's either misleading, or at least someone added the wrong detail to the image in error (it happens). Either way, I wouldn't buy a "refurbished" item that went into my ears.

Yes I laughed at the T&C that says "Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept change of mind returns for this product"

This web site appears to be owned by The Warehouse Group who I assume would be an authorised Apple reseller. It's really surprising that Apple don't ping them for stunts like this.

Yes I would interpret "factory refurbished" to mean refurbished by the manufacturer officially (or maybe an agent of) and not a random third party. This feels misleading to me.

No I wouldn't buy them.

Refurb at a factory in Pakistan, run by a wizened old guy with a screwdriver and 3 kids with buffing rags and a bottle of Jif.

We've had this conversation before.

Long story short: Their factory refurbs are often just half-cleaned used products.

Not worth the money that you pay...very hard to get a warranty claim accepted and they have a lot of issues.
