Hello my fellow geeks

I cant hold my excitement for much longer as I found out that JB Hifi is opening a store
in Botany Town Center around July this Year! I have been waiting for so long for a JB to
open in East Auckland for a long time now. I first discovered this great store in Australia
5 years ago, where they offered very cheap prices on pretty much everything techno logic.
It is very interesting and un-known where they are building as they have fenced off a whole section
of the underground car park next to Farmers, which is very unusual.

Same here, I still find a drive to Albany from botany easier than finding a carpark at Botany plus its a nice afternoon out.  Botany is like St Lukes you have the mall one side of the road and the shops you want accross the road.  Botany goes one better has two main shopping areas accross the road!

They need some parking levels here at Botany.

Yeah will be good as with flat bush down the road its a growing area in Auckland,

Flat Bush is one of a kind in New Zealand. It's the country's largest and most comprehensively planned new town, taking shape on 1700 hectares in the south east of Manukau. It will be home to at least 40,000 people by 2020, a similar population to Nelson.

The closest one I know of (from where I am) is the one in Westfield Manukau.

The shopping centre next door to Botany Town Centre is The Hub, which was swamped when Norman Ross opened there. So another one of these mega events could happen again...

Norman Ross was packed on the weekend they opened (I believe they opened on Tuesday, and I went on Saturday that week expecting it to be empty, but it was so busy I couldnt move in the store).
Too be honest, the prices that weekend were not that better than what Pb Tech would offer on a normal day, it was just advertising hype I think.

Went to Norman Ross on the Saturday afternoon of the opening week - it was so packed, you couldn't even see inside. Security was outside to check if someone was going to steal anything. We had a peep, queues nearly went back as far as the length of the store itself!

We left after eyeing some of the stuff we wanted, came back the next morning when they opened, and lines were starting to form already.

Parking was stuffed to the max.

Norman Ross to me was like Harvey Norman they dont carry a lot stuff at Botany.  Looked the same similar deal and prioces

Computer stuff here in Botany shop online or go to PB Tech as in the last post has cheaper deals all the time.  I went to Manakau over Christmas to JB Hifi to get a LCD tv as they had the best deals.

Even DSE is a pokey store and the closet is Slvia Park Mega store.

Role on JB Hi Fi we need a megar store here at Botany.  Just as long as you get there when Botany opens you can get a park.

Just wish that JBHifi in NZ had as good pricing as the one in Ozz.  Was looking at BD players here then  compared them to JB Ozz.  Sometime nearly twice the price here and less variety..
