I watched this series when it was aired originally, and really enjoyed it. Wouldn't mind seeing it again, but I'm unable to find it anywhere to buy/stream.

 

Anyone happen to have DVD/s of it I could buy/borrow ?

My goodness! I had forgotten about that show (although am briefly reminded of it when coming across set locations every now and again). 

 

I really enjoyed it at the time and have often wondered if it would ever turn into something more.

They did want it to be a second season, but didn't get the attention it needed :(

 

Even the wife sat down and watched it with me.

Maybe if it had been made today, it would have got picked up by one of the streaming platforms.

 

It was an interesting premise and very well done - I was disappointed it never made it past the first series.

Great Show. Might still have it on my MythTV box.

OMG. I remember this. Seems like it was only a few years ago it was filmed.

They used the bus station at C Drive for the helicopter scene and from memory the housing was out west Auckland.

The opening credits when he was running was the bus ramp that goes over the motorway at the takapuna bus station

I would be keen on getting a digital copy of the series too. Seems like you can only rent it though?

This will be a much more common problem over coming years.  It'll be like these things never existed, unless you can find a rare hard copy.

The doctors/hospital was filmed at Smales Farm in one of the new buildings that was finished at the time.
