Hi folks, we'd like a couple of embroidered badges sewn on to our packs. The packs are the usual cordura material, which is thicker than clothing material.
Does anyone know where in Christchurch we can take it for this job?

You can try and take it to the embroidery place in mall, like in Westfield Riccarton, the one that's next to Rebel Sports, they should be able to do it.

There are several other outlets that does industrial embroidery service, depends on if it is a bulk operation or one-off.

Sorry, I didn't make that clear I guess - we already have the embroidered badges. Now we just need it to sew the badge/patch to the pack. It's not a big job really.

Perhaps I didn't make it clear either, you can bring your patch/badges and tell them to sew it on.

If I remember right (22 years ago)... I ended up "glueing" mine onto my back pack and it did the trick till I got back to NZ !

The other thing is, most badges/patches have iron-od adhensive backing, so you could slightly damp it and then iron on and should last quite a while.
