Trade me really did take the last straw from me.

I was selling a game and they closed it because I said the case was replaced. (When selling a game you have to agree to that little thing) But a case is no where in there!!!

Theres sella.co.nz as well but seems to have been taken over by car dealers and real estate agents.

Probably up-sells from display ads in papers owned by the parent company. I work for APN News & Media and our newspapers are tied up in them, however I *think* those ties have been/are being severed. (don't hold me to this though)

Zillion certainly has some clever guys behind the scenes.  I remember them bringing out a more streamlined sales process (getting the buyers address, organising payment, printing the shipping label) then TradeMe followed suit not long after.

It will be a hard uphill battle, TradeMe has the traffic going to it, so Zillion will have to battle all the way to become a worth opponent.

I recommend following @dylanbland (or his blog), one of the guys behind Zillion.

Completely agree with you nate. Problem is people go where the largest market is, and at the moment that is TradeMe. People want as many potential customers as possible.

Will see what the few years have in store. :)
