He deserves to be where he is.

Better than Agassi or Sampras? Hmmmm... hard to say.

Celebrity deatmatch head-to-head - any day of the week.

The most powerful player of his time? Hard to go past Sampras.

Federer is certainly the greatest current player and in some ways I personally think he's one of, if not THE, best of all time.

But then it's difficult to compare with previous eras. Hard also to compare the greats of the game now with those prior to professionalism.

I'm sure the million $ purses add a huge amount of motivation!! Those that did it for the love of the game (not that those today don't love the game) without any prize money are worthy of huge respect for their accomplishments

I think he is definately the best of all time. Keep in mind he has won all four majors at least once.

Sampras never won the French Open, Borg never won the Aussie or US open. Emerson and Laver are the only other players to have won all four majors and won more than 10 in their career.

Also keep in mind Federer is only 27, even if he only plays for another 3 years I think we can assume he will win at least one more major per year giving him a total of 18 or more.
