Hi guys,
my parents have an approximately 45 year old , bottle of Liqueur called Drambuie.
im looking for a place that it could be sold online, or valued.
for example: trademe (however alcohol is banned here)

if anyone knows the value (approx) of what its worth, please let me know.

the volume of the bottle is about half a litre? doesnt say , i can post photo to help anyone
and has never been opened.

im not sure if this post is allowed, but im just after a value or website where it can be sold within NZ.

Drambiue doesnt age in a bottle like some things, wine etc.

So realistically it is probably worth the same as a bottle of drambuie on the shelf of your local liquor store

For billions of years since the outset of time, every single one of your ancestors survived, every single person on your Mum and Dads side, successfully looked after and passed onto you life. What are the chances of that like?

Probably worth less than a fresh bottle as some would have evaporated.

Some of the auction houses do wine auctions, you could try asking them but as Balchy says it doesn't age in a bottle.

You might find a collector who wants it for the bottle though if that design was rare.

thanks for your replies, yes it is probably the oldest design out.
they were considering drinking it, but its quite strong.
yes its in a bottle, quite sad that it hasn't increased in value.
this arose from my dads mate telling him "dont give it to me, sell it! it would be worth alot"
shows he was wrong lol
