Heya. Im looking at buying somebody some roses for Valentines Day in 3 weeks, however I have some inquiries before hand. The Florist has to be in the Wellington Region, and in the City Centre not out the Hutt.

1: Is there a place you could recommend? A place to stay away from?

2: As a general Rule (Although Im guessing it would differ shop-shop) How soon do I have to order if I want the Flowers to be delivered on the 14th? This week, next week or can I leave it till the 13th?

3: Do all Florists deliver? Or only some?

4: How much should I be expecting to pay for delivery? $5, $10,$20 or more?

Thats all I can think of right now, thanks for all the help

Mike :)

I don't know if they deliver (I've always picked up) but I've recently been amazed by the flowers from the Miramar Fruit shop, you get a much more impressive display for your money then anywhere else I've found in town.

Call them and talk to Vanessa, she'll have them ready for any time you suggest.

I can recommend Vickie's Flower Shop in the Plimmer Tower's building. Have sent flowers via her several times and they've always been great. http://www.vikkisflowershop.co.nz/

Thanks for those two suggestions. Would anybody else have any suggestions on where to go? :)
