OK, so in the interests of keeping me amused, what is the craziest tech rumour you have recently heard?

The best one I heard recently was here actually and concerned the forth coming Windows 8. The rumour was that it would contain an emulation ability which would essentially turn your PC into an x-box. I don't think it is true, but I like it.

In second place, but a bit old these days, is the 'Apple is about to release a white, yeah man *white*, iPhone 4!'. The thing I love about this rumour is that the only thing changing about a phone now about a year old is the colour and it is still major news. And, of course, it actually happened.

BE ADVISED! This is for fun purposes only! I am talking about rumours, not trade secrets. I don't want to get anybody in trouble and I don't want anybody claiming I caused anybody grief.

That being said, bring it on!

My favorite has to be the recurring iPhone mini rumor.

I myself heard a twist to this one. The 'mid-range' iPhone was going to have no on board storage but would be somehow 'cloud based'.

Yeah, that sounds like a competitor.
