Man it sucks does anyone get this, every change of season spring and autumn for me I get the flu this has been going on for last 5-6years now. Blocked nose, aching body and sore throat and lack of sleep, lasts about 3 days then im right no vomiting or anything serious just like having a bad cold.. Went into work today and I was freezing. I was told its hay fever, I don't know as I can't be bothered seeing a doctor about it just take some panadol and sweat it out.  Can't sleep and Im aching all over. My coffee aint helping either. lol.

I take a super dose of vitamin D3 as soon as I start feeling ill.

Actually I would recommend supplementing vitamin D3 all year round as we spend so much time indoors in the modern world.

Eat a few nasturtium leaves every day its good for prevention and relief of colds, coughs and flu, intestinal worms, stomachahe, indigestion, nervous exhaustion, constipation, depression, and for promotiong the formation of blood cells. Its a common herb/weed found growing wild everywhere. http://tinyurl.com/3vyp582

The other thing I've done all through winter is drink a teaspoon of cider vinegar in water everyday, my family has had a number of colds through winter, I havent had any. Its an oldfashioned remedy for warding off colds and flu.

I just had a sneezing fit lasted a good 5min a tradesman working outside asked if he could use my power point in the garage for his saw I couldn't answer him straight away as I was continuously sneezing! So I just waved my arms and nodded a yes. lol. Ive just downed a cup of hot lemon juice that seems to have stopped the sneezing for the moment.

Try some decent antihistamines. It really does sound like allergies.

If you get this seasonally, it is more likely to be an allergic reaction to pollen etc, rather than a Viral flu,

The season for tree pollen is here now in the northern North Island,

http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/GE1109/S00037/pines-get-unfair-rap-for-early-spring-hay-fever.htm

Try an over the counter anti-histamine from the chemist and see if your symptoms improve/change.

Early bird to Sydney, then to Hong Kong (where I am now) then another couple of hours to Shanghai to attend an HP event. Back Saturday then on the early bird to Sydney on Monday to attend the Symantec Vision event.

If antihistamines don't work (there's a bunch of different ones, try them all! Try via chemical name, not brands) or maybe you drowsy, there are steroid injections that are supposed to last 3-12 months.

I get bad allergies from spring to spring to autumn and all antihistamines make me drowsy (Even the non-drowsy ones!) so I go through spring-summer either gunked up and in pain or.. drowsy as hell..

So far the steroid injection seems to be working! Fingers crossed it keeps working..
