As we all know it's been on the cards for a while, but it's still a huge shock. Steve helped to shape an industry which has helped to shape the modern world, and his influence will be felt for decades to come.

Steve's passing is yet another reminded to many people that, we are merely mortal... All great legends will return to the stars above one day.

Whether you liked Apple or not it is a loss and my thoughts are with his loved ones.  56 ain't old and it reminds some of us that life can be much shorter than we envisaged.

His contribution to IT, Business and community is huge. His industry wide influence immeasurable. People with vision and drive like Steve Jobs come around rarely. He will be missed.

Rest peacefully.

Very few people can say that they really made a difference to modern life.  Steve Jobs was one.

Another visionary who along with others, gave us the IT world we know today, and as often was the case, it began in a garage.

R.I.P.
