Got a letter from Suzuki about joining their saver card. Just wondered if anyone else has it, or could offer their opinion on it.

"Here are the major benefits of Suzuki Fuelcard at a glance:

-  6 months FREE delivery of either North & South magazine (rrp $49.20) or Next magazine (rrp $48.00).
- 5 cents per litre discount off the pump price (includes petrol, diesel & LPG) at Shell Service Stations.
- Use your Cardplus Fuelcard and in addtion to your 5c per litre discount off the pump price you will also get Fly Buys points on fuel purchases at participating Shell Service Stations.
- There will be no need to swipe your Fly Buys card at the time of purchase. It's that easy. Retail bar code on your fuelcard provides access to nationwide retailers. Plus a range of Exclusive Fuelcard Customer cost saving benefits via www.cardplus.co.nz
- Your fuel card can be used for all purchases at any Shell Service Stations.
- Multiple cards linked to one account for partners and family members.
- Available to both consumers and businesses.
- Secure PIN access.
- Up to 35 days free credit.
- No transaction fees.
- Only $2.00 monthly per card – with no other costs! "

The $2 monthly fee means your first 40 litres of savings go to paying the monthly fee.

I myself use Far North Fuels who offer Mobil and Caltex cards.  They have an initial account opening fee and card issue fee, but after that the only ongoing fee is $0.005/l.

I think for all cards like this the fees are a big thing to keep in mind as sometimes they will wipe out your savings entirely...

I got this as well but I don't like credit cards and only use EFTPOS to pay for fuel

Will it stil be valid when there are no Shell stations left, and they are all 'Z'?

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?
