I follow Shane Warne's twitter account.

Last night he tweeted about how he was about to watch American Pie with six excited children and asked his followers what their favourite line from the movie was.

I and about half of the others that bothered to reply questioned how old the kids were etc. I answered that it contained sex, nudity and mas******tion and asked how old the kids were.

I now notice that today I no longer receive any of his tweets in my timeline.

I can still go to the twitter website and see his tweets and my account still shows me as following him but I wonder if celebs have some sought of extra functionality were they can block followers without actually alerting them to the fact?

I haven't actually been blocked by anyone before but I am pretty sure you get a pop up message if you try to view their account?

Has the sheik of tweak given me the heave ho :-) ??

I was being king to those of a delicate nature, or those eating their tea.

Does twitter alert the follower if they get blocked? In my experience, the only person who knows is the person who instigates the block.
