A tv for the bedroom, that way I can wake up and watch F1!

I'd gift it to my disabled son who can't afford to splash out on nice things like this due to some unfortunate circumstances.

We moved between islands a few months ago and gave away our 15 year old TV to our student young neighbours before we left. We've not bought a new TV since and I'd rather like to have one!

A cozy looking living room with a sofa, two seats, a coffee table, cat tree laid out around a warm burning fireplace. There is no television. Our 15 year old Bravia 46EX500 that we gave to our neighbours 7 months ago.

EDIT: I realise that they may not have been students. They were all young and flatting though :)

Well, I don't have a TV.

So it could be a handy thing.  I rarely watch television, but stream stuff.  I have a Chromecast around here, somewhere.

Every visitor complains about our old low quality tv. We cannot justify spending money on a new one when the current one still works.  But replacing with a free one and donating current one to someone without is ok with is.

Such a nice bright display will surely drive out the darkness of any mancave ...

I’ve never had a TV in my bedroom and this would be perfect.

My only existing TV is a 1080p 42" from about 2012.  It wasn't bad at the time, but it's more than a little out of date at this point.  I have a young one at home now who likes watching nature documentaries - and I think some 4K content with vibrant colours would look amazing on this.

I've been eyeing up something like this to use as a monitor since 4k 42" is pretty much the same pixel density as my 27" 1440p.

Since LG is being nice and doing a giveaway, I will say that my experience with LG TVs has been pleasantly surprising.

  • Best remote with the motion control cursor
  • Actually usable built in speakers
  • Decent performance with webOS even without being a top of the range model
  • Remarkably robust app eco system considering it's only LG TVs using webOS AFAIK
  • Decent selection of unofficial apps and community developing them (even though it would be much nicer if they would allow them in the official app store)
  • Still getting software updates for webOS
  • No annoying ads in the smart feature UI
  • Functional remote control app (though it could be more streamlined

But in the negatives:

  • Only option for auto-off is 2 hours. I don't know why it can't be shorter.
  • DLNA streaming from a PC was unreliable and now just doesn't work. (Though maybe that's just Windows' fault, I think I should give up on DLNA working on anything these days TBH).

Don't exactly buy new TVs often but LG would certainly be one of the first brands I'd look at.

A chatgpt render inspired by recent article about americans spending a lot of time on mobile devices on the toilet. Thought a more sanitary option would be having a tv in the toilet lol. Would I put one there. Probably not. Think it would just be wall mounted in the room

Wife loves the current TV, but I say it's time for an upgrade!

This would be used for football coaching to allow academy players to review footage of games, tactical presentations and preparation for match strategy.

This would provide the best resources available for male and female youth players to analyse and break down information presented to them in the best format as well as magnify their engagement.

This looks like a fantastic TV.

I don't personally need it,but i do have a friend in his 80,s that is in desperate need of a new tv.

I believe he is watching on a 32" with a google box, dating back to early 2000,s give or take. Its very faded now display wise.

If i won it ,i would pass it on to him.

For that reason i cannot give any fancy reasons at .
