The list of flash flash phones that people have here is making me so jealous! And that just the phones you want to replace?!? I'm rocking a bet up old Nokia (6275), pre-XT, dings and scratches, battery problems, buildup of dust INSIDE the screen where you can't get it out, and some of the buttons have become cantankerous. Additionally, I frequently get voice messages without the phone ever ringing, and the most common time for a text message to arrive is approximately 3 hours AFTER it mattered. Yeah. Having dropped the device many, many times, including once from the roof of the car when I drove off and left it there, it is time to retire the poor old girl, and I mean who WOULDN'T want a shiny shiny droid to help ease the emotional upheaval of retiring such a trusty old friend...

fastmikey: I have a Nokia 6234 that had an unfortunate... incident involving a washing machine. The battery is rather bulging :-)
while the phone boots, it needs a new battery and certainly isn't the happiest...

LOL @ the picture you posted of the bulging battery!!

If it works after going through a wash cycle then I take off my hat to your original 6234!

I've got an aaaaincent old Nokia:

No, not that old - this one (Nokia 5000):

The screen is impossible to read in the sunlight, and it most definitely isn't smart!

Don't want the lock-in of an iPhone, but am keen on the open-source-dom of the Android (microsoft "patent fees" notwithstanding).

I currently have an XT Nokia 6600. Love the compact size but I'm getting very jealous of the feature sets available on the iPhone and new Android devices. I like the sound of Android as iPhone seems almost cliche now.

I've heard great reviews of the Milestone with the only negative being that the keyboard isn't that great too use, everything else is supposed to be awesome so I'd be super happy to win this.

I am using a Palm Treo Pro using Windows Mobil 6.1.
Its OK as a basic phone but would love the opportunity to upgrade to an Android.

I have never owned my own cellphone!

Not that I haven't been carrying one or more since the late nineties, but they have all been company phones, starting with a Nokia 5120. Currently using a LG GM310f slider phone, which is OK I think, though it has an amazingly sensitive touchpad just below the screen, so that every time you slide the phone open or closed you manage to activate some feature or other by accident. A minor flaw in the scheme of things though I guess.

cheers!

I have a plain vanilla Nokia - its so generic they didn't even bother to put a model number on it. Works for me tho!

Heh! I'm currently using a very old (but very robust) Nokia 1100. Basic cell phone and texts only.

I really need to get into the 21st century! Pick me! Pick me! Innocent

I have a blackberry bold 9000 that has been working great since Nov 2008 with no problems.  Love the phone but would be great with better apps.

I have an HTC desire.  My partner has a basic, very basic Nokia so it would be great to promote cellular equality with this little prize
