jarledb: I agree with you there. Don't need a huge engine to enjoy that, but a fairly light and well put together sports car will let you enjoy the twists and turns of corners.

That's why I got the MR2.
When I first got it, I was a little scared and thought it was too fast. Wherever I accelerated I got the stomach dropping feeling.
But now I'm used to it I wish I had that feeling back :(.

networkn: 2011 BMW 335i Twin Turbo Touring Wagon. Previously Audi S4 v8 4.2L (for Sale), and 2 Subaru Legacy GT-B Spec's and an Outback 3.0L.

Next car: Audi S4 Avant or RS4 Avant.

Not a huge fan of the BMW then?

I had a loaner RS5 for a day a few months ago, that thing was incredible.

jarledb: I love that high powered cars are not taxed to death here in NZ. In Norway these cars would be way too expensive because of taxation of larger engines.

BUT, I have to admit I am not sure when a high powered car is actually of any use here in NZ?!

I prefer a smaller engine with a turbo for NZ roads, great on twisty roads and also pretty good for overtaking :-)
