Would be great to replace this very old 32 inch Sony. Yes some people do still use a VCR and a TIVO 😂

This will be perfect to replace the Frame in the bedroom.

The frame can then go into the living room where it was originally intended to hang.

Assuming I can find a way to safely mount it, I will end up mounted to my ceiling so I can watch it laying flat on my back.

Currently have a Qumi projector doing that duty, but it's getting quite old now.

Hoping to replace an old bedroom TV with a scary volume control - regularly is nearly silent until you turn it up to max and then it comes on at full noise!

Will be a fantastic replacement for our 10 year old Panasonic 42inch dumb TV especially once we have finished our renovations.

As a window? (and a TV). If we go into backyard, then we can see magnificant sunsets over mountains. However, there is no convenient window in living area to know whether sunset is even happening. I am in process of setting up a Raspberry PI system to have camera monitoring outside view being channelled to HDMI connector for TV. However, TV is small and old. I have already made fix when power board died ($2 for the capacitor and $30 shipping from HK) but it is hardly window sized. 42" would fit the bill nicely. (and we could watch TV on it when the sun has gone down).

Dad's just gone into a retirement home, would use it to brighten up his days with endless streams of Australian news and Phantom of the Opera reruns.

Our Lounge TV made its way to tech valhalla earlier this year. The bedroom TV replaced it, but we've never gotten round to replacing the bedroom TV due to finances. During a brush with illness earlier this year we really regretted that choice but still haven't been able to replace it. So this one would go in the bedroom and get connected to a Switch so we can use Smash Bros and Mario Kart to decide who has to get up early and first and make the coffee.

I would use the screen to make the treadmill more attractive, showing videos in front of it, so my wife could feel like she was running outdoors without allowing the Wellington weather to discourage her.
