Nikkim: Am I missing something? Are the posts regarding their timeframes to citizenship false? What would anyone achieve by suggesting their application is approved before others?

I don't know if they are false, but it doesn't look good for someone to register multiple times to comment on the same thread with different accounts.

Oh! I understand :)
Thanks for explaining. I was just curious. I applied in late oct last year and I’m still awaiting an outcome. I was trying to make sense of what’s happening with the applications based on people’s experiences, which is why I asked if the information was false.
Thanks again for your response.

Sad to hear that, was applied online in Auckland on 26th Oct'2020..seems same time as you and received my approval on 14th Sep'2021 --> Ceremony for 4th Oct'2021 cancelled and waiting for my certificate.

Yes it is a bit frustrating. I followed up on 13 Sept and my case officer said it takes 6-8 months to be processed after being assigned to a case officer. This does not seem to correct as it is not what you have experienced and it is also different to what is stated on the DIA website. So I don't understand what the hold up is or why I've been advised of a different timeframe.

General update;

Applied online (joint application). Nov 30th 2020. Today I finally had an email asking for a new passport photo and a second email confirming all my details are correct. Finally some progress!

My wife applied in person at the end of November 2020 in Christchurch and is still waiting to hear something.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Quick question - at what stage do they take the payment? Immediately upon receipt? (Month Zero)
