There is an Android app "Police Scanner" I use to listen to Police it connects to a Internet stream, I have used it to listen to the Waikato and Auckland police just for the sake of it.

Copper 1: Hello Andy, there is a gang fight at Auckland St 22.
Copper 2: Let's chill first.
Copper 1: Coffee at the cafe or Starbucks?
Copper 2: Iced Mocha at Starbucks. Then drive around the city for another 15 minutes. Don't want to get into trouble or get hurt do we? Not worth the salary.
Copper 1: Sure. We can squeeze in a trip to Hawaii after that!

You forgot to include "over" at the end of each sentence... Undecided Radio/telephone communications via comm's are the most closely watched and analysed part of the organisation. Dispatchers are required to use standard terminology and keep transmissions short and concise.

If anyone's interested in the type of terminology that's used in Police Communications visit http://www.b8s.co.nz/policecodes.htm
