IRD have stoped with the reply envelope which removes one way of dealing with it.

SaltyNZ: This service does sound very good. I would love to not have to sort through paper bills. The problem I have is that the IRD are addicted to dead trees. I wonder if there will ever be a way to deal with THAT?

The IRD are looking at removing their reliance on 'dead' trees.

Another company that is addicted to dead trees is GE Finance. I rang them up to cancel my Creditline account, which has a balance of $0.00. They informed me that they will be sending me two (WTF?) closing statements. Perhaps this is so I can view them in 3D by positioning them just right and crossing my eyes.

GEM visa charge for paper statements. The online ones make no sense at all so you end up calling them in anycase. I guess they do that so they hope that their randomly named interest charges slip by people with interest free periods on their cards.

Consumero: The only way I'm going to open a YouPost box is if they put gold bars, wads of cash or pictures of Jessica Alba in it.

What if it actually had Jessica Alba in it?

I might use service where I received a daily summary email from NZPost....

In that email would be a series of scans of all envelopes currently addressed to me.
From that list, I could then select which items to be delivered to me (and specify a different address if required), and which items to be trashed without delivery.
