Agreed, the battery charger is about the only thing compatible with my gear, and they cant make it less functional with a software update like all the other products

For some reason the wife's ipad charger does not seem to want to charge my S3 so I'm not even sure they are that fantastic?!

That would be because apple dont follow the USB charging specifications. I was refering to the AA battery charger ;)
